Price Engineering, a SunSource company, is an engineering and distribution company that serves Mobile and Industrial markets who need fluid power products and services.  Price's design assistance expertise guides our customers from product selection to fully-engineered hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and automation systems and solutions.

We currently have a need for a Cylinder Repair Technician. This includes but is not limited to disassembly, inspection, failure analysis, parts identification, repair, reassembly, paint and testing. Mechanical aptitude is necessary with a comprehensive understanding of the various tools associated with hydraulic cylinder rebuilding.   The ability to read schematics, diagrams and blueprints is required. Must show a good attitude, willingness to learn, and work independently as well as with others. Candidates must have their own basic tools. Specialty tools unique to the job will be provided.

In addition to current skills and education, the CRT may be required to attend the following certification courses as required:

• Enerpac repair school
• Internal training courses at Price Engineering
• Eaton Systemic Contamination Control

(Other schools, seminars, and training are recommended and available through suppliers and local technical colleges.)Construction of hydraulic systems

The qualified individual will have the following skills and experience: 

Education: High school degree, GED, or equivalent required. Ongoing willingness to continue educational learning/training

Licenses/Certificates: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

•  Experience working with power tools and hand tools
•  Forklift Operator
•  Good mechanical aptitude a must 
•  Logical problem-solving and analytical ability
•  Strong interpersonal and both written and oral communication skills 
•  Motivated self-starter with the ability to organize, prioritize, and schedule work assignments is required.  
•  Sound judgment and decision-making ability
•  Demonstrates integrity and ethical standards
•  Maintains a professional demeanor at all times
•  Team player who works productively with wide range of people

Physical Demands: Lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, assembly, installation & troubleshooting efforts of fluid power systems
